Through the collection of primary data, the survey records current practices, identifies the main challenges and highlights opportunities for further integrating sustainability into hotel operations.<\/p>\n<p>The Environmental (E) section was developed in collaboration with the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels (HCH) and the Technical Chamber of Greece (TCG). It includes indicators and measurements aligned with the Green Star Rating framework for hotels. The survey covers issues relating to energy and water management, carbon footprint, solid and liquid waste management, and food waste management.<\/p>\n<p>The Social (S) section examines, among other areas, procurement from local and Greek producers, initiatives to provide information to guests, the accessibility of hotel facilities and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
