Participation in the 51st European International Business Academy International Conference 2025 (EIBA 2025)

The President of the Research Institute for Tourism (RIT), Ms. Konstantina Svynou, participated in the 51st EIBA (European International Business Academy) International Conference (https://eiba2025.eiba.org/), which was held at the Athens Concert Hall and organized by the University of Piraeus and the University of Macedonia, under the title “Strategic Realities in IB Practices.”
During the conference, she presented the key features of Greece’s hotel sector, its performance, challenges, and prospects within an evolving competitive environment, as evidenced by the research and data produced by RIT.

Among others, keynote interventions were delivered by the Governor of the Bank of Greece, Yannis Stournaras; Professor Constantina Kottaridi of the Department of Economics at the University of Piraeus; the Rector of the University of Piraeus, Michalis Sfakianakis; Professor Dimitris Kyrkilis of the University of Macedonia; the Mayor of Athens, Haris Doukas; and the Director General of the Hellenic Bank Association, Professor Charoula Apalagaki.
