The new ESG survey by RIT, conducted in collaboration with the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels (HCH), was presented in Rhodes and captures the transition of Greek hotels toward a more sustainable operating model. With the participation of 896 hotel units, the study analyzes critical sustainability indicators such as energy efficiency, water and waste management, social responsibility, and the adoption of relevant corporate policies. The results reveal increased awareness and growing investment activity in sustainability, with a particular focus on 4* and 5* hotels. At the same time, the findings highlight the need to support smaller businesses in adopting green practices.
