Monthly Survey measures in real-time the basic hotel variables defining the performance of the Greek hotels, such as occupancy rate and the average rate of double room.

The Greek part of the research on Artificial Intelligence was carried out by RIT in collaboration with the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels. The study, titled “The Use of Artificial Intelligence in the Operation of Greek Hotels,” was conducted as part of a European level study  in collaboration with the University of Switzerland.

RIT, on behalf of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels, is conducting, for the fourth consecutive year, a survey to assess employment and shortages in Greek Hotels. The survey period is from November 7 to November 30, 2024, and the reference period is the year 2024.

The 2024 Annual Survey on the Hotel Sector, presented by the General Director of the RΙΤ, Professor George Petrakos, highlights clear trends of improved seasonality, qualitative upgrades, and a strengthened contribution to the Greek economy.
